前回設計したホイールを実際に削りだしました.実際には,切削して失敗して切削してを繰り返しながら設計が進んでいるわけですけどね.
白のポリアセタールを2mmのスクエアエンドミルで切削しました.G-codeは,生成プログラムをpythonで書いて作りました.加工時間は1個あたり15分くらいです.
4輪だと4つもホイールが必要ですが,まあ勝手に削りだしてくれるのでだいぶ楽ですね.
wow, it looked really thin. Are they made by acetal? Do you think it will be strong enough to against pressure? I really what what it looks.
Yes, polyacetal. I believe that this wheel is enough for a light mouse around 10 grams based on the experience of my previous mouse.But, when I press the wheel by fingers, I find the wheel deformed.
is the wheel deforming something you expected in order to increase the contact surface when turning?
No. I just wanted to say that this wheel is not so rigid due to the thin rim.
